On the streets she hopped, skipped and jumped.... The idea of empowerment in her totally numbed.... Education and a Sustainable Life were a distant dream.... She never knew she was never a part of that theme. But one day in her was planted a seed... That told her she missed out on things she would need... She looked up to see if anyone would strech their hand... To help her reach the desired land.   Then came a life changing experience .... Which told her that in life she could make a lot more difference... Education, Enablement, Freedom, Fun and Frolic .... Were a part of that HUGE logic. She ran through the gates that JC had opened... To her it was difficult to digest that this really happened... As days passed she found her life repriced... Thanks to the Buds of Christ !!! Luna Sawan  - Friends of Buds of Christ

Children of Nalam Child Development center have shown great results in their academics despite the challenging circumstances of belonging to poor families and HIV and AIDS condition. Being in rural area, children had the disadvantage of pow er cuts for more than 8-10 hours, less access to good coaching centers, yet have shown results that have left everybody astonished. Two Girls have achieved more than 80% in their 10th results and all Children living with HIV have achieved above 60% results. As we enjoy this achievement, we are also happy that the children, two months before took efforts in supporting deserving HIV positive orphan children with emergency lamps in helping them study during the power cut hours and this support has been through a “savings scheme for needy children” initiated last year at our center.
